We are adding two (2) Regional Account Managers who will work remotely from their home office with responsibility for developing and maintaining strong relationships with regional GHOST retail partners across the assigned territory of the US (one East and one West). Will oversee account volume/share goals, spending budgets and results (Distribution, Price, Promotion, and Points of Distribution within chain) and develop productive business relationships with assigned accounts as well as grow GHOST distribution within new regional accounts.
The Deets:
Prospect to secure new, competitive, and non-buying regional retailer accounts.
Work with local wholesale partners to expand current regional retail relationships and partner with new retailers.
Grow GHOST sales and share at key retailers across assigned territory.
Secure new item support and increase GHOST points of distribution.
Secure display programming and drive strong execution in stores.
Maintain customer focus to proactively identify opportunities to improve service to the customer, quickly and effectively respond to customer problems, partner with other functions/department to meet customer needs.
Clear and consistent communications/interactions with wholesaler partners, fellow GHOST associates, and key retailer stakeholders.
Identify sales and share opportunities using data and develop/execute action plans to close gaps.
Demonstrate a passion for understanding practices, trends and technology affecting the business, industry and marketplace.
Understand and anticipate how business plans and actions will impact both GHOST P&L and the customer financially.
Negotiate with retailers to maximize volume, distribution, display space, and in store customer experience with GHOST.
Proactively resolve issues and identify improvement.
Conduct quarterly business reviews to update all retail partners on business, channel competition, and opportunities.
Manage, maintain and optimize a retail chain budget for all regional assigned accounts.
The Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field of study required, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of sales experience in a retail, broker and distributor sales environment (preferably in the beverage industry); account management experience a strong plus
Demonstrated track record of sales management achievement
Proven knowledge of broker, distributor and retail customers
Ability to establish solid relationships and credibility with customers; ability to collaborate at all levels
Excellent at managing time, priorities and expenses
Able to work independently while being a team player
Proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint
